Mr. LAAZIRI joined CDG Invest Growth in 2001. His involvement from the Management Company inception significantly contributed to its expansion and sustainability in the Moroccan Private Equity ecosystem. Within CDG Invest Growth, he led numerous investments in a variety of sectors, particularly in agro-industry, chemicals, textiles, construction, specialized distribution and NICTs. Beyond his duties as General Manager of CIG, Mr. LAAZIRI has held responsibilities within various professional organizations. Twice, he was elected President of the Moroccan Association of Capital Investors (AMIC), and is an active member of the YPO (Young President Organization). He is also a Director sitting in several Moroccan companies’ Boards, demonstrating his influence and involvement in the Moroccan economic landscape.
Laaziri is an engineer graduated from ENSI DESS Management IAE Strasbourg, and holds an Executive MBA from ENPC EHTP
Ms. Chaouni joined CDG Invest Growth in 2023 as an Investment Director. She has more than 15 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, investment and financing.
From 2014 to 2023, she strongly contributed to the M&A activity development within Oaklins international investment bank, Moroccan office, as Deputy Director General and Partner in charge of sourcing and execution of M&A transactions.
From 2010 to 2014, she acted as Senior Manager within the international consulting firm Colliers and contributed to the execution of investment, financing and M&A transactions.
From 2008 to 2010, she led a large-scale industrial investment project within Procter & Gamble.
Ms. Chaouni is graduated from Neoma Business School.
Ms. El Alami joined CDG Invest Growth in 2022 as an Investment Manager and then as an Investment Director. She has more than 10 years of experience in Finance, being involved in investment related projects and transactions.
After her graduation, she first held a position as a Senior Analyst within Ernst & Young Paris in Audit, Project Finance Consulting and Transaction Support.
Ms. El Alami then joined in 2017, IDIA Capital Invetissement, Crédit Agricole Group’s Private Equity arm, which has €1.5 billion of assets under management.
Back to Morocco, in 2018, she joined the Financial Department of OCP as a manager in the Investments and portfolio companies team.
Ms. El Alami is graduated from Essec Business School.
Ghali Lebbar joined CDG Invest Growth in 2024 as an Investment Manager.
He is a seasoned private equity professional with over nine years of experience in corporate finance.
Mr. Lebbar started his career in Montreal at a large engineering and construction company. After that, he joined Ernst & Young in 2017 as an Engagement Manager in the Strategy & Transactions group where he honed his expertise in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and valuations working along Private Equity funds and Corporate Clients.
After that, in 2020, he joined the Private Equity group of Investissement Québec as an Associate Principal focusing on investment opportunities within the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector.
Mr. Lebbar graduated from HEC Montreal and passed all the exams of the CFA Program.
El Ghali ELALAMY joined CDG Invest Growth team in 2023 as Senior Associate.
With over 4 years of experience in the field of buy-side & sell-side financial due diligence, he built up his career in the Transaction Services department of the international firm Ernst & Young in Paris, where he rose to the rank of manager.
El Ghali graduated from Université Paris-Dauphine.
Ghita CHERIF EL GANOUNI joined CDG Invest Growth in 2020, first as an Analyst then as an Associate.
She gained strong knowledge in the investment field with over 4 years of experience, first among the M&A team of CFG Bank, then among the Asset Management & OPCI team of Yamed Capital.
Ghita graduated from EMLYON Business School
Mr. Hicham MRIMI joined CDG Invest Growth in 2009 and participated in monitoring portfolio companies as well as investments made by second, third and fourth generation funds. He is also an administrator on the boards of directors and a member of the committees of some of the invested companies. Hicham has over 14 years of practical experience in corporate finance and valuations as well as the structuring and execution of private equity investments. Currently, Hicham is Support Director of CDG Invest Growth and its managed funds.
Before joining CDG Invest Growth, he has participated in numerous missions, both in Morocco and in Belgium, relating to various aspects of corporate finance, including financial diagnosis and risk management, cash flow management, management control, monitoring of scorecards as well as analytical accounting.
Mr. Mrimi graduated from ENCG and holds a master degree in Management Science from HEC Liège.
Ms. KAMEL joined CDG Invest Growth in 2023 as a Compliance, internal control, ethics and ESG Manager.
She first held the position of Senior Auditor within the Société Générale Marocaine des Banques in Casablanca, then joined Attijariwafa bank in compliance Audit within the European and African Subsidiaries.
Finally, she held the position of A.Manager within the Financial Services at Mazars.
With 7 years experience, Salma is specialized in regulatory and compliance matters. She worked with management companies, banks and financial services actors in Morroccan, Africain and European markets.
Ms. Kamel graduated from ENCG.
Karima joined CDG Invest Growth in 2006 as Office Manager. She is in charge of administrative management and external communication. Since 2020, she has also held the position of Human Resources Manager.
Karima gained her first experience in an import-export company specializing in the import of plastic raw materials, as manager of the purchasing department.
She then held the position of office manager within Microsoft North Africa, and the position of administrative and financial assistant within Tecnimede Morocco, which operates in the pharmaceutical industry.
Karima graduated from a French Business School (EFA) and holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources from IHEES Casablanca.
Chaimae joined CDG Invest Growth in 2017 as a support assistant in charge of administrative management and external relations.
Chaimae started her career in 2014 as reception officer in a tech firm, then held a human resources support position in a mining company.
