CDG Invest Growth Completes Its Exit from SCE Chemicals

CDG Invest Growth announces the successful completion of the exit of its minority stake in SCE Chemicals, a Moroccan industrial company specializing in the production and distribution of chemical products for various industrial applications, through Capmezzanine II Fund.

CDG Invest Growth initially invested in SCE Chemicals in 2019, alongside reference shareholders, with the objective of supporting the company’s industrial development and accelerating its growth trajectory following its spin-off in 2018.

This transaction marks the successful completion of a close partnership with SCE Chemicals during key phases of its development. During the investment period, CDG Invest Growth supported the company in the execution of a structured development plan, including the commissioning of new industrial capacities, the progressive diversification of its product offering, and the expansion of its customer base. The company also strengthened its organizational structure, enhanced governance standards, and reinforced key management functions to support its growth ambitions. In parallel, SCE Chemicals initiated its international expansion, marking an important step in its evolution into a regional industrial platform.

CDG Invest Growth has now exited its stake following a structured process, marking the completion of a successful partnership and paving the way for the company’s next stage of development.

Hassan Laaziri, CEO of CDG Invest Growth, stated:
Our partnership with SCE Chemicals illustrates our commitment to supporting the transformation of top-tier Moroccan industrial platforms. We are confident in its ability to pursue its development trajectory and capture new growth opportunities.
